That is enough to sustain us and we can teach our bodies to get by on less.Dad Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02947159125578430699noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822984334381286887.post-56892981539238980502010-06-28T17:19:49.026-06:002010-06-28T17:19:49.026-06:00For Jeri, anything that can be cooked in the oven ...For Jeri, anything that can be cooked in the oven can be cooked in a crock-pot. Sandra, a suggestion to make your fruits and veggies to last longer. When growing up we never got to eat anything between meals, no "snacks" only at meal time, and we worked hard. Overweight became because we think we need something in our mouth all the time. Little hunger pangs never hurt anyone, we would all be better off. (I am a co-leader at the site in Springville and I love it)

I just spent all day today up at a Holistic LDS living conference and have spent the week preparing to go tot he conference by reading about the word of wisdom.

I am also subscribe to deals to meals, but find that the meals - especially in the summer- don't work that great for me. (to many HOT, cook int he oven things, when all I want is a COOL salad... ya know?) I actually just bought a cookbook called "A World of Wisdom" which is word of wisdom based and the recipes are organized into "seasons" -with the BASE being grains and legumes... I've only tried one recipe so far, but between that and the "raw foods" class i attended today, I am feeling more optimistic...

Keep it up! I am following in your footsteps.Jerihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13696320304738158460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3822984334381286887.post-76012007497280338212010-06-26T21:01:12.266-06:002010-06-26T21:01:12.266-06:00I thank you so much for telling me about this.
