California here we come

So the countdown has accelerated. 11 hours till we leave to go to San Diego. I am so excited I can hardly stand myself. But there is that part of me that is worried. One of my children is staying home because he can't stand to miss any school, so I am a bit worried about him. He is 16 1\2, mature, responsible and trustworthy. But he is still 16. Our neighbors are going to watch out for him. He will probably spend most of his spare time at their house anyway. But you know.

And of course, there is that part of me that is sure I have forgotten to do or get or pack something. And then I have to remind myself that they do have stores in California!

3 days till I get to hug my boy!!
