Birthday Greetings

Happy Birthday to my friend Dave over at Top of the Morning.

Here's a birthday lunch for you. Take a break from writing and enjoy yourself.
(It is also National Gazpacho day, but tomato soup is going to have to do.)

Blow out some candles

Play some soccer
(I borrowed the photo from the soccer club website. I hope you don't mind)

The rest of you, head over to Dave's site and make it a party and wish him Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday, Dave. Hope it is a good one!

Indeed.

Sandra,

Our friend Dave is NOT ungrateful for his birthday greeting. It just so happens that he fell on Saturday...HIS BIRTHDAY...and smacked his head and it was a mess.

He's fine though (unless there is brain damage :) )...no worries. But I told him all about your birthday wishes and he was glad that someone in the world thinks of him.

Noelle,

I know. Doesn't that stink. Not a fun way to spend a birthday. If you are going to have someone dressed up wearing and funny hats on your birthday, it should be a clown making balloon animals. And the only masks should be the ones you wear while breaking the pinata- not heads.

I am finally making the rounds again. Ouch. My head still hurts big time.

Thanks a bunch for the birthday wishes. You are amazing.

Nice tomato soup. Great looking smoothie. What's in it? And you can never go wrong with a soccer photo.

I am glad that you are starting to feel a bit better. That pain will eventually go away- heads wounds are brutal and so sensitive, not much deep tissue to absorb the impact.

Smoothie- the kids put bananas, other fruit, yogurt maybe some ice cubes. I usually put fruit, ice cubes and soy milk in mine.

I need to find a new yogurt, though, since I rechecked the label on the brand I buy. It was full of fructos corn syrup-yikes! Maybe I should just get a yogurt maker and make my own.
