Disturbing

I heard a bit of disturbing news this morning.


Apparently the legislators in Connecticut believe that they can do this because the legislation would not regulate religious practices but monetary issues. I find this reasoning to be alarming. Once government starts taking over bits and pieces of churches, what is to stop them from regulating or even forming or mandating religion?

There's more to this than what MSNBC reported. The two legislators who drafted the bill are ticked off at the Catholic church for its stance against gay marriage and abortion and they're are trying to make the church pay, if not destroy it. I think they would prefer the later, but since that is the longer term goal, they're settling for more control for now.

Its really funny to watch these two CT senators. They are actively gay guys (see the links on this guys blog: http://rightviewfromtheleftcoast.blogspot.com/2009/03/connecticut-dems-and-catholic-church.html) and they think they are being progressive. What they are really doing is acting as pawns for a Satanic power grab and they likely don't even know it. They think they're fighting for their rights, while Satan is saying thanks guys for helping me remove God, and enslave millions of people and once I've got them, I'm not going to be there for you when this whole things comes tumbling down. It goes something like this:

Once these state sentaors convince people that their rights come from government rather than from God, they will get approval from the voting publich to do things just like what they propose to do in this legistlation. They've shelved this legislation for now, but they'll be back trying every legal, democratic, or judicial mechanism avaialbe to them. The fact they got as far as they did, nearly to a full vote with enough votes to pass this thing, is astounding. Until the right minded people in CT said no way and they called en masse and got this thing tabled.

These senators and millions of progressive thinkers like them believe that if they can get rid of religion they will be able to apply to the government for their rights and get what they want. Gay rights. Abortion rights. You name it. And order to transfer the power of grantings rights from God to government you have to get rid of religion. Once God is out of the picture where do men get their rights? From the government, of course. Silly freedom loving fools.

According to the declaration of Independence and the constitution its the other way around. God gives us our rights and we ask the government to protect those rights. But if you're a power hungry government official who lives in a democracy you've got to deal with those unalienable rights the constitution says are given to each man from God. This Catholic Church cunundrum is just another salvo in a long line of salvos attempting to do away with God.

The pawns in this statanic theatre are the progressive activists demanding gay rights and abortion rights and drug use rights and euthenasia rights and right to die rights and increased taxation and government social programs that strip people of their dignity and their self reliance. The big whigs, it turns out, Satan and Christ, are interested in a much larger battle. Agency or no agency. Its constitutional power grab of divine proportions thats been going on since Adam and Eve left the garden and after a few thousand years, Satan has refined his means, but never abandoned his agenda. Give me the glory. Clear and simple power grab of epic proportions. Remove God and the people have no other recourse than to turn to government for their rights.

Make no mistake about it. What the progressive movement is doing is attempting to replace God with government, making elected officials the sole proprietor of rights. And that can't happen in this country until God is dead and we the people go along with their legislating at the ballot box or in the court room or in the legislature that no rights are divinely granted. Where else are you going to go for your rights if not from God? The government.

If these nuts keep chipping away at the constitution, you can kiss your unalienables goodbye. No wonder it was prophesied that the constitution would hang by a thread and that thread is one simple idea: Does God grant you your rights or does the government? Everything else in our constitution is an appendage to that one idea. And Satan would like to flip it around. Its the greatest hocus pocus act the world has ever seen and, funny thing, it is always been done historically when people are scared, when they fear for the future, when the markets go down, when the economy is in shambles. That's when leaders seize power. Stalin did it when times were bad. Hitler did it when Germany was on the brink of economic collapse. Chavez. Kadafi. Rome. Zarahemla at 70 BC.

What is really scary to me is that we see the similar things happening in our contry during times of economic collapse. It's nothing new. Its been going on since the beginning.

No wonder our founding fathers wrote this in the declaration of Independence:

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.--That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
