A day in the life

Saturday at my house :

I went here

To get these

Then I put about 6 loads of these

and these

into these There was some of this

A lot of this

This, in the wind and rain and FREEZING COLD

But I was warmer than Brandi, who came and got one of the pairs of gloves I was wearing.
Then Brandi went with the soccer team to a Halloween party and I raced across town to this

They took 1st place as well as Best Visual Caption award.

And it was still Freezing but the rain had stopped.

I tried to post a great visual video at the very bottom of this post from another competition but blogger won't upload it. I'll keep trying and post it later

Then I picked up Brandi, went home and did 4 more loads of laundry and went to bed about 2 a.m. this morning.

There was none of this

Which is what I REALLY, REALLY wanted to do

Indeed.

From the looks of things, I think we were in a lot of the same places! Surprised I didn't run into you somewhere....like the laundry room....that's where I was most of the day... :) Hope you got some nice relaxation on Sunday. Now today we're up and at em' again! Have a great week! :)

Oh, it just makes me tired to think about it.

Sorry honey. Don't you use your dishwasher ? Everyone needs to rinse their dishes and put them in the dishwasher when they use something. When it is full the last one needs to start it. If they don't do it, then, whoever doen't do it needs to do the dishes. You do work and go to school. Wish I was there to help you. Love Mom

Well, that wasn't my sink you know.
But, no, I don't use the dishwasher because it leaks and has for about 4 years and he won't fix it and... you know the rest.

We have split up the chores between me and the kids and dishes are my chore because it is just easier to do it myself the first time than redo it when I want to use a dish. But the kids are really good at washing their own dishes- usually. But some days, like Sat., everyone is running and I just say rinse and stack and I'll do them all.

I thought so. If he won't fix it he can do the dishes. Love Mom
