Family Day at MCRD

Motovational run in the morning. Trevor is on the outside, 4th from the front (in green) {also, click on it to view it larger. I know it is dark, after Jess lightens it, I will repost it}

Marching in for the Awards Ceremony. Again, 4th from the front.

Trevor receiving his Eagle Globe and Anchor pin. This is when he actually becomes a Marine instead of a recruit.

Fixing his uniform after showing us how to do chinups.

Isn't he handsome?

I love my Stripling Warrior!

Great pictures Sandra! How was your trip? Did you stay over somewhere on the drive?

Wow. Don't you just want to squeeze him to death? When my kids have been gone longer than a week, I keep wanting to touch them, to make sure it's real. :)

Have a nice trip back.

As well you should. Those are great pictures and you must be so incredibly proud of your son. Semper Fi. My biological father was a marine, as was my husband's dad.

You two look awfully solemn in the last one!!! Cheer up~ you're there!! grin. He looks great, and I'll bet you're just so proud of him! Hey...my nephew was there and the LDS branch gave out these coins -- did your son get one? they are really cool with the San Diego temple on them.
