So True

I had a dream last night that I was late to an awards ceremony. The limo was there to pick me up and I hadn't even changed into my formal yet. Why? Because I was doing the dishes.

I have no idea what kind of awards ceremony I would be going to that required a limo and a formal, but the part about the dishes? That would be true.

**The picture is a stock photo and not my actual kitchen, even though most days it feels like it. this morning included after 3 days in bed sick- not a pretty sight, though I can see where the kids did do some of them.

Indeed.

Lol! This is the story of our lives, don't you think? Are you better? I could practically FEEL your pain.... I loved the post you wrote on Mother's Day. The one about children's comments on their mothers? The one about "diets" especially made me laugh. I chuckled every time I thought about it! :) Are you a teacher? You sound like either a teacher, or a very involved college student, or maybe both! :) Well, I hope you're feeling better...Is it okay that I read your blog? I enjoy it alot. It makes me smile alot and I relate to a lot of your thoughts.

yes you can read my blog, Cami. I am not a teacher, but I do have a teaching degree and I love teaching. I also have a psych degree and am working on my masters in school counseling. I also have a degree in children's literature and 7 kids and 2 grandkids and work in a highschool so I have plenty of opportunities for ideas!

Sigh. I just wrote a comment and it disappeared. So if it comes back, I am sorry, not insane! Thanks for letting me invade your blog. I truly enjoy your posts. As I said in the comment that may or may not reappear, I have found much comfort in a lot of your posts and feel that maybe I am not such a stranger to my own thoughts after all. I have five children and a dog named Rosie. I am just going back to school, planning on going into Dental Hygiene, (my brother and a lot of my nephews are dentists. My son is going to go to Dental school when he returns from his mission....) but I have always wanted to teach school. Now, at my age, I want to read, write, travel, travel and did I say travel? I feel as though I've been living in a fishbowl and I'm ready to swim now. There is a lot of life left and I intend on living it! My kids are really cute most of the time and I enjoy being a mother so much! I love Dave Woolley's blog, I have learned so much. Thanks again for letting me invade! Cami
