Tawnya, me too. That is the main reason I went ahead and entered, after I had read some of them I was pretty sure I could do at least that well.
But it was really scary to send that e-mail with my entry. I do have a file folder of rejection letters but they are all from someone that is nameless and faceless. The people voting on these stories? I know most of them so if they don't like it or it gets no comments- that is too scary to think about.
Karlene- why didn't you enter? You are a much better writer than I am.
